The Power of Critical Feedback

At Dropbox, we invest in our employees' growth through comprehensive programs that include resources, mentorship, and ongoing development. By offering cohort-based employee programs, Dropboxers at their respective levels are given foundational soft-skill training through live workshops, e-learning courses, and peer-mentor groups.

From new grads, to individual contributors (ICs), managers, and executives, we want to make sure everyone is equipped with how to prioritize growth in their roles. Because of this, one of the things that I am most proud of in my entire time at Dropbox has been looking at all the leaders I have managed and where they are now. All of them have grown in some capacity, whether that’s taking on larger teams, assuming more significant leadership roles, or transitioning to individual contributor positions as principal ICs elsewhere. This growth is a testament to the power of providing hard feedback and incentivizing our team members based on what is best for the company.

One of the things that I am most proud of in my entire time at Dropbox has been looking at all the leaders I have managed and where they are now.

We have embraced a company-first mindset, prioritizing the collective success of our teams over individual accomplishments. By breaking down silos and fostering a culture of collaboration, our focus remains on delivering the best possible experience for our customers. One of our values is "They win, we win" which speaks to the importance placed on this mindset. We are all in this together, with the shared goal of driving the company's success. By nurturing a team-oriented culture and incentivizing based on company-level impact, we create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Together, we can achieve remarkable things and continue to make Dropbox a leader in the industry. If Dropbox sounds like the right fit for you, check out our open roles!
