Built In’s Best Places to Work 2024
I’ve worked at Dropbox for nearly two years, and I know that Dropbox is the best place to work. Our remote-centered Virtual First approach promotes flexibility and freedom, while enabling you to do your best work and drive business results to impact and build the future. You can work from almost anywhere (I work from Raleigh, NC) and design your schedule to balance collaboration with needs for deep work.
As I write this blog post, I’m sitting in my local library because I needed a change of scenery and time for deep work, and it’s one of my favorite places without distractions. I have my calendar blocked for “Morning focus time,” which is time for me to streamline my focus, without multi-tasking in Slack or Gmail, and before my meetings start for the day (Core Collaboration = 12-4pm ET for me.)
Every Dropboxer sets up their day differently depending on their working style, which is one of the many reasons Dropbox is such a special place. I truly feel like I can show up and bring my authentic self to work each day.
With that, I’m excited to announce that Dropbox is among Built In’s 2024 Best Places to Work in the following categories:
- U.S. Best Places to Work
- U.S. Best Large Places to Work
- Seattle, WA Best Places to Work

At Dropbox, we believe the future is built on great ideas. And great ideas don’t just come from the top; they come from everywhere. I work with the most innovative, down-to-earth people of all time. There’s a reason why Dropbox is on a mission to design a more enlightened way of working and these awards prove that employees feel valued in the work they are doing and the problems they are solving for our customers.
